Will Pinke is a freelance director, writer, 1st AD, producer, editor, and possibly even actor if you ask nicely. He is also a renowned uncle, brother, son, grandson, nephew, and friend.

He grew up in New Jersey and started writing and directing comedy in various forms at a young age. He attended Princeton University, where he studied literature, film history & theory, and creative writing. After graduating in 2014, he followed in the footsteps of his great-grandparents and immigrated to New York.

In 2022, he graduated from the Columbia University School of the Arts with an MFA degree in Directing & Screenwriting.

He has publicly released two short films: Family Heirloom (2021) and Daddy’s Night (2022). His most recent short film, “The End”, premiered at the Bushwick Film Festival (2024) and is currently making its way through the festival circuit.

Will often works as a 1st Assistant Director on Independent Films. He has been the Assistant Director on over 30 short films and 4 feature films, as well as various music videos, web series, and commercials.

Will is primarily a narrative filmmaker, but he also dabbles in documentary. He is currently in post-production on a feature documentary project that he is producing, directing, and editing.
